Turn Off Notifications on iPhone

Settings β Notifications
Open Settings and tap Notifications. Every app that has requested notification permission is listed here.

Tap an app and toggle off
Tap any app in the list. Toggle off Allow Notifications to silence that app completely. Or leave it on and customise β you can disable Lock Screen, Notification Centre and Banners independently, keeping the notification count badge without noisy pop-ups.

Turn off all notifications at once with Focus
Swipe down from top right β tap Focus β enable Do Not Disturb. This silences all notifications temporarily. Customise Focus modes in Settings β Focus to allow calls from specific contacts while blocking everything else.
Turn Off Notifications on Android

Settings β Notifications β App Notifications
Open Settings β Notifications (or Apps β App Management on some Android versions). Tap App Notifications to see every app.

Tap an app and toggle off
Tap any app and toggle off Show Notifications. On newer Android versions, you can also control notification categories within an app β for example, keeping order notifications from a delivery app but disabling promotional ones.

Use Do Not Disturb for bulk silencing
Pull down the notification shade β tap Do Not Disturb. Or set scheduled Do Not Disturb in Settings β Notifications β Do Not Disturb β Schedules β automatically silences during sleep hours.
